Who decides what is real when the authenticator can't tell the difference between you and the machine that learned to mimic you, NOW WHAT?!??! Perception, belief, narrative, interpretation, and emotional experience are not reality itself. They are representations of reality, so what happens when a system becomes increasingly dependent upon representations rather than reality?

A perfectly self reinforcing structure may possess no remaining aperture through which reality can enter when reality contradicts the system. The unknown is not an issue I believe so much as the replacement of the unknown with a convincing falsehood is the threat, because ignorance naturally leaves a space, and when false certainty occupies the space where ignorance should have remained, an entirely different path is opened to gown down in the negative space of what we can’t see.
