The first language where I begin working out the logic of each piece and their technical aspects.

A decade working in texture design and photography taught me that color is only one part of what gives a piece its feeling. I have always, always loved building palettes. I could happily spend hours face deep in color swatches.

Rosarium Strata brings together my love of opulent texture, florals, and color. Each palette reveals the logic behind a finished piece in how everything can feel lush, layered, and gloriously alive without losing its structure. I admit it also makes me want to chew on it with my eyeballs, if that is even a thing.

The Rosarium Strata Palette Bible

Sixty palettes and growing.

Every Rosarium Strata piece begins here. The Palette Bible is my ever growing archive of color relationships, textures, flowers, minerals, metallic details, and moods, where I work out the visual logic of a piece before it becomes artwork. Some palettes become paintings almost immediately. Others wait until the right little world comes looking for them.
